Today’s Chart of the Day was shared by Andrew Thrasher (@AndrewThrasher). It's a chart of the S&P 500 over the past two decades, along with the % of S&P 500 Stocks at new 20-day lows. The S&P 500 closed at an all-time high for the first time in over a month yesterday. However, Andrew points out that more than 15% of stocks within the index made new 20-day lows. We haven't seen that many new lows while the S&P 500 is at a record high in more than 20 years. In other words, we're starting to see some signs of weakness develop under the surface despite record highs in the broader market.
